They have started framing, and have the lower level sub-floor in. Kind of funny right now since there's no way to get into the basement until they cut the hole for the stairs! The top picture is looking from the front of the house to the back. Second picture is Dave M. measuring the garage, which is in the back of the house. Third picture shows the subfloor. And last picture shows Dave V. standing in the entryway from the garage - to his right you'll enter the mudroom/laundry and to his left you'll go upstairs to the bonus room which will be the Daves' master suite. It's going to move fast now!
Moving from...
The Daves are moving from Brooklyn Park Minnesota and Mom Motes is moving from West Salem Wisconsin.

Fill 'er up!
After a week of letting the walls "cure" they have filled in with dirt - no more hanging egress window! Soon it'll start to look like a real house... First picture is from the front, right of the house. Note the porch pillar in the foreground and the driveway outline to the right. Second picture is the mudroom on the left and the garage on the right. The space in the front between them will be the patio. Third picture is the basement from the garage. Last picture is Dave M. standing next to the egress window staring into the large hole of the basement.

Walls are up!
The temperature was warm enough they were able to get the walls poured. Note the egress window hanging in space in the second picture and the porch pillars in the third picture. First picture is from the front of the house looking back and the last picture is from the back of the house looking forward (garage on the left).

Stake(s) Out
They have the stakes laid out for the lot and the house, so we can see how much space the house will take and how much backyard we'll have. Since our lot is narrow but deep, we'll have a decent size backyard, with no really close houses. FYI, the lot size is 0.28 acres. The first picture is from the back corner of the lot. Notice Dave M. and Georgia - they're standing about where the back of the garage will be. The second picture is a telephoto from the same position.
