Framing continues, second floor front

This is the second floor area above the foyer. The original plan for the house is a two-story foyer but we chose to fill in the floor to add the space here. The opening is the door to the second floor balcony. The door was originally in the "princess" bedroom but we decided to move it to the hall area.


This is the princess bedroom - it has its own bathroom and walk-in closet. Mom Violett and Sarah have both claimed it. Sarah has even begun to decorate it! :)



This is the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom on this floor isn't pictured but we plan to use it as a TV room.


This is the view from the front of the house. We look down the backyards of the houses across the street to the "lakes". There are two lakes in Maple Park; the park has walking trails around the lakes, a playground, basketball court, and a soccer field. We won't use most of it, but it'll be good for re-sale to be a block away from a nice park.
